Your Quest Begins With a Mysterious Cloth...

Our face is our identity. Through faces, we recognize each other and feel love.

Now think about the face of Jesus. The face of the most influential being of all time.

Is the image of Jesus that comes to mind based on movies or paintings?

If so, would you like to see the real face of Jesus? No kidding, his real face rather than images created by men and women.

Historical facts provide insight into His real face. For example, we know that Jesus lived until his early thirties. He was of Middle Eastern Jewish descent. He was born, lived,   traveled and died in the ancient land known today as Israel.

Then, consider the miraculous possibility that real physical evidence exists today showing not only the face of Christ — but his full body at the moment of His resurrection.

At Sign From God, we believe that the mysterious cloth known as the Shroud of Turin is likely the authentic burial cloth of Jesus Christ. (We don’t have the DNA of Jesus so the crucified man seen on the Shroud can never be 100 percent proven to be Jesus Christ.)

The Shroud, bearing the anatomically correct full-body image of a crucified man is the most studied artifact in the world. To this day, the Shroud’s existence continues to baffle scientists. No one can definitely prove how the photo-negative image of “the man in the Shroud” came to be — along with numerous other mysterious elements contained within and on the cloth.

Based on the image and the known history of the cloth, millions of followers of Jesus throughout the world, believe as we do, that the Shroud of Turin is the authentic burial cloth of Jesus Christ.

Surely you are asking, “How can this be true?”

And, “What does the Shroud have to do with believing in Jesus?”

Would evidence of Christ’s death and resurrection make a difference in how you believe?

Check out Shroud of Turin facts for detailed answers about the Shroud of Turin on which the face of Jesus is revealed. But first, you must be aware that the Shroud is a 14 feet by 3.5 feet linen cloth that rests today in a secure, underground vault inside the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Turin, Italy.

Look at the face of the man in the Shroud and talk to him…

Look into the eyes of the man in the Shroud and talk to Him as if He were your spouse, closest loved one, or best friend. If so moved, tell Him your greatest hopes and fears. Perhaps it is a “Sign from God” that you are reading this right now.

Be still, and know that I am God."
Old Testament (Hebrew Bible) Book of Psalms (46:10)

Knowing God through His son Jesus Christ means that you will never need to go through life on your own. The greatest power in the universe can be unleashed within you — emboldening you with the strength to persevere through the worst of times. The truth is, His power has always been available to you, waiting for you to love and believe in Him. He stands at the door and knocks on all our hearts. Will you open the door and ask Him into your life?

With all of life’s joy, love, pain, heartbreak, success, defeat, and triumph, there is a reason and purpose for your life. This truth is eloquently stated in the Bible’s New Testament: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans (8:28)

Today is a banner day - a Sign From God that YOU have been called according to His purpose!
